In 1974, the family business started in real estate services in Stettler, Alberta. Over the next 40 years, Canalta evolved into the hospitality company we know today by strategically buying restaurants and hotels, as well as working with well-known brands like Hilton, Best Western and Wyndham to develop properties across Western Canada.
